Christoph Niemann is an illustrator with great imagination, probably fueled by his three sons. An American living in Berlin, he is a regular contributor to The New Yorker, Wired and other great publications. I love his work on Lego and New York City. The one about the bubble gum really cracks me up!
If you’re going to NY, get his book I LEGO N.Y. as a prelude to explain to the kids where you’re heading. I am sure it will speak to them very clearly.
He is also the author of The Pet Dragon, which teaches Chinese characters to young readers.
