Photographer Patricia Parinejad has an intriguing and visually exciting exhibition going on at Fumi Gallery in London. Titled “Eyes”, her conceptual black and white series of digitally manipulated photographs capture the expressions in the eyes of children of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. They are children that she met during her trips around the world.
Eyes are symbols of purity yet, when captured by the artist, they seem in turn angelic and mysterious. They leave us question the identity of each of them.
