You might remember the post earlier this year about Caroline Irby‘s project A Child from Everywhere. Well, the book is just out and I highly recommend it. 185 children photographed all over the UK, each an immigrant from a different country of the world. It’s a fascinating social study about immigration and diversity, as much as a beautiful photographic project.
Caroline is a grand reporter in her everyday life (my secret dream job). Six-months pregnant, she still travels all over the world to cover news stories. No war zones until the end of the pregnancy though.
Last night was her book signing at the V&A Museum of Childhood in London, and if you’re in town, the exhibition runs until the end of August.
