I discovered these 2 genius products on Famille Summerbelle‘s always-inspiring blog: the Suited Case and the Pile of Suitcases, respectively from designers Nieuwe Heren and Maarten De Ceulauer.
The designers have in common to have studied in the Netherlands, the former at the School of Design in Utrecht, the latter at the Design Academy Eindhoven. I love the idea of recycling your suitcases.
This is the Suited Case from Nieuwe Heren:
The duo designers Niuewe Heren are just in their early twenties and quite prolific already. The concept of their Suited Case is that the family might feel homesick when travelling far away. Assembled together as a sofa, the 4 suitcases will remind you of home sweet home.

Designed by Maarten de Ceulauer, this is an exceptional piece on its way to win many awards. In leather and with the possibility of customizing the colors, it is at turns a luxurious clothing closet and a work of art.
