Ok, it’s unlikely that you’ll make it to the Himalayas with the kids any time soon. So let’s just enjoy these beautiful photos for Inspiration today.
Yoga teacher Heather Elton just returned from a 4,000km trip in the Himalayas through spectacular landscapes in Himachal Pradesh and Ladhak. She is now working on a travel essay to tell us more about the 1000-year old monasteries with painted murals and Buddhist thankas protected by 5,000m high mountain passes.
It’s a grey Tuesday in London today and these photos remind me that the world is incredibly big and beautiful.
Next time the children ask you about the tallest mountains in the world, read this and you’ll impress them more than their geography teacher. (Thank you Mr Jeeves)
