Rural Rajasthan, a festival of colors |5| India

I won’t argue with you, it would be terribly difficult to do our trip with young children. Too many monuments to visit, too many hours seating in a car. However, I do think that many teens would appreciate the experience. There is so much to learn about history, culture, the Indian way of living. And there’s always something unexpected just as you’re getting tired of being on the road.

Like this festival that we encountered on our way to Udaipur…

The villagers from all the surroundings were celebrating the end of the monsoon and had worn their most beautiful outfits.

A visual feast for us.

Incredible India!
