When you’ve been used to white christmas, it’s refreshing to remember that half the planet is hot and sunny to celebrate the holidays (let me not be christmas-centric…half the planet actually does not care about Christmas!).
Feliz Natal – Merry Christmas – is another word we learnt in Brazil. We made it to Paris on time for Dec 24th despite the crazy weather disruptions in Europe, after a very long journey and a plane unable to land. The good thing of flying so close to Christmas is that Marcelo is pretty sure he saw Papa Noel flying up there in the clouds with all the gifts ready.
