I learnt in Mendoza that some winemakers are called garagista, when they make wines out of a passion with rather basic equipment. Carmelo Patti, whom we met and visited, is Mendoza’s most famous garagista. And then there are the real garage, like this one below, that I enjoyed photographing too.
