Having been out of the country this past five months, I missed the mother’s day celebrations in the UK (it was in March). Then last Sunday we were in Portugal without the children and it was Mother’s day there. I felt a bit like the ugly duck. The map below (interactive link here) might be a useful tool if you are planning to travel in Spring time, when most mother’s day is celebrated around the world.
Today it’s Mother’s day in places like Turkey, Brazil, the USA, Japan, Finland… and Australia. LMNOP (read here for my recent interview of Jenny Lacey’s on Sydney & Melbourne) celebrates Mother’s day on its blog with several moms featured. She asked me to answer a few questions too. When you read the answers from the different moms, there is one thing in common no matter the profile: Children have taught us Patience. Yes, it’s so true.
Happy Mothers Day whether yours is Today or Another Day. It should be Everyday. x
