Bioplastic beach toys made of…Corn!

If you’ve lost your beach toys to the last tide (ask me about it, we were just on vacation in tideland in France, in the bassin d’Arcachon!), you’ll understand why it’s important to get those beach toys from Zoe B


They’re made with a biobased material that comes from American-grown corn. Specifically, this bioplastic is made with a polymer produced by microbial fermentation of sugar. It means the toys will fully biodegrade in 2 to 3 years when buried in soil or immersed in water while ordinary plastic takes up to 500 years to degrade! Talking about the organic generation…
