IDEAT is probably the best deco magazine of the moment. That’s how they present themselves, and I think it’s totally true.
It’s a French magazine but if you can’t read it, you will still appreciate the very inspiring series throughout and the guides are quite self-explanatory. To me, Ideat is the perfect blend between design & travel in the glossy world. Every month, they choose a country as a theme and the newly released issue is All About Brasil, especially focusing on Rio and Sao Paulo. My favorite country in the world! Indeed, the country is going through such a tremendous boom at all levels (on the negative side, making it an expensive place to visit…)
I decided to subscribe to the prints even though shipping came out quite costly to the UK (they’ll ship anywhere in the world). I find that every issue is one to keep for future references, inspiration or as travel guide. However, they also sell it digitally for Eur3.49, here.
