I don’t know if you’re like me, but I have a perfume specially for when I go on vacation to a warm place. It’s Eau du Sud from Annick Goutal (literally meaning Water from the South) and I’ve been wearing it for 15 years now each time we go somewhere south. Love it, Love it. Sometimes, I also wear it at home, if I miss the sun too much (like…NOW. Thank you London Weather).
Now, there’s a great new little perfume company who’s had the idea to pair city escapes with a scent, and help you bring back the essence from your city travels: The Scent of Departure. Love the Concept! They have 19 destinations covered so far, each with a meaningful fragrance linked to the city, such as spices and roses for Istanbul, and apples for New York.
A really good Father’s Day gift idea if you ask me. Perhaps a hint at the next place you’d like him to take you to…Or perhaps a way to capture the last romantic city escape you’ve had together, away from the kids…ahahahaha
