Lior brought us luck to find our home in Provence 4 years ago – I still remember breastfeeding him in the rubbles of the house after we bought it and he was just a few months old. He was born in July – our little summer baby – so we always get to celebrate his birthday here surrounded with friends and family. Last week, sweet Courtney (from – you know by now how much i love it – Babyccino), Michael and the whole Adamo gang made a stop to visit us during their big trip around the world.
Every week this past year, I have been eagerly waiting for Courtney’s updates on her (newish) travel blog Somewhere Slower. I have daydreamed about all the places that her family has visited, places we stopped by during our round the world 5 years ago, and new destinations on our wish list… So it was wonderful to catch up, hear all about their adventures, and show them a bit of the Provence that we love.
The children spent countless hours laughing together and doing all sorts of mischievous things, building dens and catching frogs, we had long meals under the vine, we celebrated Lior’s 4th birthday and … we secretly wished that summers last forever. Here are some photos of our homemade Provence party, mine mixed with Courtney’s.
happy four my sweet Lior, may the light shine on you for ever and ever.
