This blog was in my mind for a little while, but I guess I had to come to the shores of Maria Worth lake, for the infamous detox at Viva-Mayr before BozAround actually took off.
Any new (or not so new) mother in need of recharging the batteries should pay a visit to Dr Stossier at Viva Mayr. If that’s not possible, then at least get the book which is full of smart advice on healthy eating habits.
The cure is quite an investment (in all respects), and it might be better to come with a soulmate (my soulmates being the ducks in the lake), but it’s worth every second & penny. Not only will I leave tomorrow with a flatter stomach, but more importantly I have learnt what it means to chew properly, and all the basics of a well balanced family lifestyle, that is, when it comes to eating. My advice, book your appointment with Dr Stossier or his wife before arriving here, and make sure to include in your program some massages with Harald (his shiatsu is heaven), some electrolysis teatments, and bring those books that you never have time to read at home. I did 1-week, but some here are doing 3-weeks stay!
BozAround tips: Book a flight into Klagenfurt airport (via Munich if you come from the States, direct with Ryanair from London). Arrive on a Thursday evening if possible, that way you maximize the cure as you can start on Friday morning and it includes the week end. Pack lots of comfortable clothes. I was all week in my yoga pants and my silver Birkenstocks (silver was definitely a hit).
Don’t do like me though, leave the laptop at home unless you really need that skype fix with the children.
